Thanks
for visiting my web site, www.radionics.net
AND…thanks for your questions!
Many
people e-mail me to ask questions about my work and also about the SE-5 and
other
radionics machines out there. I
hope to answer many of the questions and concerns
that I am asked most frequently. This is presented in a kind of story
form, so read on...
I
realize that some of the statements on my web site may not have been clear to
some people.
I also know that some SE-5 owners are not real happy to see my web site,
because
of some of the statements I make about the SE-5, however I do have some good
things to say
about the SE-5 and especially it’s users.
If
you have a SE-5 or know how to use its rub (stick) plate, you have learned a
valuable skill.
It’s my opinion that it might be more appropriate to be amazed with yourself
than with the SE-5.
If you make it all of the way through this area, you will know why I
think that.
I
took my first electronics class in 1972, and did some radio repair in 1978. I
started working for Intel
1980, and after that I worked for Magnavox and some other big companies doing
repair and engineering.
My main job at these different companies was to find design flaws and to
redesign and rebuild
part or the whole machine.
Then
I got interested in metaphysics and dowsing.
In
1986 I was in a store in Utah called The Mind Mint. It was sort of a Self-help /
Metaphysical store.
I was looking around and found a book called “Subliminal
Communication” by written Dr. Eldon Taylor.
Someone behind me asked if I needed any help.
I asked him if the book was any good.
He said that most people liked it.
He
asked what kind of work I did, and I said that I design and build anything
electronic. That opened
up quite a discussion and eventually he told me who he was, and what he did.
It turned out that he
was the Dr. Eldon Taylor that had written the book I was looking at.
(See below for his degrees and
his website.)
The
book was about all the ways that humans respond to things subliminally.
Let me explain about
commercial audio tapes that are described as “subliminal.”
Most of the subliminal tapes on the market
do not work, except by the placebo effect.
Because of the placebo effect, 30% of the people who
use them will get good results; the other 70% of the population will get little
or no results. This is true
for anything that uses the placebo effect.
That’s why scientists require double blind studies that can
be duplicated and verified.
One
very successful company puts out tapes that are called subliminal, but in truth,
they are just music
and there is nothing at all ‘subliminal’ on them.
When asked about this in private, the company owner
admitted it, but said, “Hey, at least I am helping 30% of people.”
Dr.
Taylor was not satisfied to put out tapes that didn’t work 70% of the time.
He wanted a subliminal
tape series that used verifiable scientific principles.
He’d spent years researching the brain and human
responses. Eventually, he perfected
a way to make the world’s most effective subliminal tapes.
By
1986, Dr. Taylor was making custom subliminal tapes for people that wanted to
order one, and they
worked better than anything else available.
Unfortunately, it was such a complex process to produce
one, that it took about a week to create. Obviously,
most people could not afford a week of his time.
He wanted a machine built that could do most of the steps involved
automatically, cutting his time down
to less than a day. This would make
his series commercially viable.
He
explained to me how he made his tapes, and also why his worked.
Then he explained what the other
companies were doing wrong. I got a
good idea of what he needed and wanted and what it needed to
do. Within one week I had designed,
built, and delivered a machine that did everything he wanted, and
he still uses the machines that I built, today, in making his subliminal tapes.
After
meeting Dr. Taylor I became interested in and started studying hypnosis, the
subconscious mind
and how to program it through subliminal messages.
In
1987 I moved to Tucson, AZ., and worked with some doctors, and a research
scientist at the University of Arizona.
But that's another story... <G>
The
reason that I mention my background here is because, whenever someone that knew
or had heard
of me that had something electronic or electrical break they would bring it to
me, and it wasn't just their
TV or Toaster. Being in electronics and metaphysics meant that whenever someone
had some strange
device that had broken they would bring it to me for repair. Some devices had the inside parts covered
with glue, so I'd have to sort through it’s guts build a whole new circuit!
I
became very interested in radionics machines and have seen and used about 35
different kinds of
radionics machines and have taken apart (to repair or examine) probably 25
different types, including
one from around the turn of the century that was actually very sophisticated.
It was quite impressive,
as it really worked. In all my
experience I have only found three radionic devices that had any measurable
output and that was the Digitron the Psion and that really old one.
By
1987 I was building TEN's, electro acupuncture machines, "Rife"
frequency generators, Earth
Resonance generators and "Brain tuners" type devices.
About a year later I met with a man in New Mexico
who wanted me to design a Radionics machine for him that he could sell as his
own name brand product.
This guy had collected Radionics machines from all over the world. He said "Now take all of these apart
and see what they do and then make me a better one".
So I spent days at his house taking them apart and
doing a lot of testing with my electronic equipment.
I was quite surprised to see that most lf them were
mainly just a box, a battery,
switches, a few wires and LED's. I could hardly believe what I was seeing.
I
was so disappointed to see that out of about 20 different Radionic devices (and
yes even 2 different models
of SE-5) none of them broadcast anything measurable.
(Electronically measurable, that is.)
At
this point, I was disillusioned and thought Radionics was just the placebo
effect. That if you just had
something to focus your intent with, and believe enough, that you could create
the effect. Now if a person
knows this, that’s one thing, but to sell an empty box with knobs on it
and say or imply that it’s a cure for
anything and/or everything, is a lot different. In
fact, I think they call that fraud.
But
that’s not the whole story.
I
saw my first SE-5 about 15 years ago when I lived in S.L.C., Utah. A good friend
of mine, who lives in
Orem, Utah, owned one and was also selling them. He told me how amazing it was,
and if I’d had some
way to come up with $2,000.00 I would have bought one back then.
I'm
always more amazed at the SE-5 operator than I am the SE-5. And that is because
I know what is in the SE-5.
Let
me be clear here….I don’t think that the SE-5 was deliberately designed as a
way to defraud people. It works
quite well for many people. The
man that made the Digitron and the SE-5 found that he could get the same
results
with the Digitron turned off. This
was after testing and using the Digitron for a very long time, doing the same
things over and over and over again. This
is called creating a ritual and may have something to do with
quantum physics or an effect called “morphic resonance.”
The
inventor of the Digitron may have thought that all anyone needed to make the
rates work was a tool
to focus their intent. Because even
with his machine off, he could turn the knobs, push the buttons, etc.
and get the same results that he got with the Digitron, which had a
measurable electronic output.
That was true "for him." But,
it was not true for everyone else. However,
he didn't know that.
He probably thought everyone was just like him.
And, like with Dowsing, if you get trained by someone
that's really good at it, most people can learn it fairly quickly, but if you
just buy a book, it's a lot harder.
Everyone
that uses a Digitron does get the same results every time. Remember, it has a
measurable output,
also. So he made the SE-5, which worked just as well for him as did the Digitron,
yes even when it was turned
off. So if you have a SE-5 and it
really works good for you then I am impressed with you and not the SE-5,
because “your faith has made you whole.”
However,
I do think that if you buy or sell an electronic device that claims to do a
particular thing,
then it should really do what is claimed. My
machines do what I say they do and I guarantee it!
I have met quite a few people in this line of work that knowingly make
false claims, just to sell
things that do not work, and those are the ones that I have a problem with.
Of
course, I realize that even the many of the people that are selling the SE-5s,
and other devices,
do not even know what's inside. Remember,
when I saw my first SE-5, I wanted to buy it, and I
didn't know what was in it. I was going on the belief in my friend and his
judgment nd the results
that he’d gotten with his SE-5.
In
1992 a woman that lives in Phoenix,
AZ called and asked if I could repair a Digitron.
She said that
she had two of them and that the other one was working fine. I
asked her to bring both with her to
Tucson, AZ. Then I would have an example of a working one. Well, she showed up
with two Digitrons
and an SE-5. I could not find parts
for the Digitron so I cut out its guts and used the box to build a new
radionics machine.
She
was so happy with what I did with it that when she got home she called the guy
that she purchased
it from, and then he called me.
This
fellow, Tim M. had sold many SE-5's and Digitrons and he’d had no complaints
with the Digitron,
but some of his SE-5 customers could not get a stick with it rub plate, and it
was harder to train
people on. I told him what my
experience with the SE-5 was. But I
had some ideas of a possible
modification and if he wanted I would try it out for him.
He had nothing to lose at that point, because
they belonged to customers who couldn’t get a stick on the rub plate, no
matter what they’d tried.
Maybe my modification would help get the stick. Tim lived near San Diego, CA. and it took him about
8 Hours driving time to get to my house from his.
He brought several SE-5s with him for me to work on.
As I worked on getting one of the SE-5’s open, he told me that most people are
afraid to open them up
because it voids the warranty, plus, he was told that if it were ever opened, it
would not work, ever
again. Then you’d be out your
money ($2,000 to $3,000 dollars).
While
I doing the modifications, he told me he had been in business with a Greg M. and
said that the
SE-5 was made by the same guy that made the Digitron, who lived near Prescott,
AZ. Tim told me
that he and Greg took every rate book they could get their hands on and put them
all together and
came out with a Big Blue 3 ring binder rate book that had about 10,000 rates in
it. He also told me
that he and Greg had a disagreement of some kind and that Greg moved to Hawaii,
and that
he (Tim) moved to California.
After
I was done with the modifications Tim went back to home and the next day took it
to a customer
that had complained about it and wanted their money back. They tried out the
re-vamped version and
it worked! Tim was pretty happy, mainly because he didn't have to refund their
money!
He called me, all happy, and said “Modify the rest of them!” After I
finished up re-working the rest
of his machines, he called and asked me what other kinds of stuff I made that he
could sell.
To
make a long story short, for the next two years I built machines just for him.
I also had a real good
Radionics program designed, to my specifications, which took almost a year to
finish. After the program
was done, Tim gave me a copy of his big blue rate book, and I hired a typist to
enter all of the rates that
Tim had, which was about 13,000 rates. That
took 3 more months.
I
called my version of the software VSR2. He
called his version of it, B.E.S.T.
(which stands for Bio Energy Sound Technology,) because he liked the
adaptor that I’d made for a computer’s
serial port, that converts Rates to sound waves which can then be recorded onto
tape. Tim
had a large
client base he hit a point where he was selling lots and lots of rate tapes and
was also using my scalar antenna to
energize homeopathic formulas with the rates.
These
tapes and formulas were doing so well that he was buying less and less machines
from me. Finally,
he called me up one day and said “The
more I think about it, any person that I sell a machine to could start
their own business making tapes and that would cut into my business, so I'm not
going to sell Radionic machines any more."
Another
thing he liked about making rate tapes, is that instead of using several
machines broadcasting all day long,
he would just make a tape for them to play
with headphones for their treatment.
He
also said it put some of the responsibility on the person by them having to take
the time to listen to it.
Tim
had told me earlier was that sometimes when he was away from home, a client
would call him on his cellular
phone saying that they were sick with something and could he “put them on a
broadcast?” He would say “Sure!”
Then, as he was driving, he would be thinking about what rates would be good to
use when he got home -- just
going over it in his mind. He said that sometimes before he would get home that
they would call him again and say
“Hey, thanks for the treatment.” Whatever was wrong was fixed and they would
send him money. But he didn't
do anything. I asked him if that
was when he had realized that he could the same things, without a Radionic
machine?
He
said that he had never thought of it that way.
What
‘fixed’ that person? Was it their faith or belief in him?
Was it him, going through the steps in his mind, thinking about what rates might
work, or was it just the placebo effect?
I
don’t know. I have opinions, but
I don’t know for sure.
Tim
said that Greg M. sold the SE-5 rights to someone named Ludi Larson, in Utah.
Now I've never met her,
but I have heard lots of good things about her. From what I have heard, I would
guess that any device would work
for her, even an empty box, because its not really the box - it's really
her.
If
you use radionic devices to help people, then you all ready know that you have
to be very careful what you say and promise.
The
friend of mine in Orem, Utah, who showed the first SE-5 fifteen years ago said,
that he could take a
photo of someone, write radionic rates on a piece of paper, fold up the paper
and stick it to the photo
with a magnet on both sides and he would get results like the SE-5. He said "It works is like this."
First you have the photo which has a signature of the persons energy,
when you write a rate down with
the intent of it use and result, it leaves with it a energy pattern, then when
the magnets are stuck to each
side, the magnet field mixes the photos energy with the rates and the intent
energy, and then the person or animal
or plant is effected by the rate.
Fifteen
years ago I would call that crazy talk. Now, I call that "creating a ritual
for healing" and maybe using a
magnet makes it more effective because magnets do move other energies. I know
from double blind studies
that you can put a photo of a person, or just written names, in an
envelope and give it to a group who
will pray for their health, and that they often get better.
My
advice to anyone that is sick, or knows some one that is sick:
Don't
give up!
Keep
trying different things till you find something that works!
Look
into Herbs, Vitamins, Prayer, Body Work, alternative medicine, Acupuncture, etc.
Listen
to your Doctors, whether they are M.D.s, Naturopathic, Chiropractic, etc.
Try
people that do different kinds of energy work (provided they can clear their
own energy and keep it grounded while working on someone else.)
Be
careful of how you represent yourself to the public…
I
personally know of a guy in California was prosecuted for practicing medicine
with out a license.
It was a jury trial. The county prosecutor asked him what was in the box and how
did it work…
the more he spoke about it the more the jury shook their heads.
Well, to make a long story short...
He went to Jail. If that guy
would have said that nothing was inside the black box, so it really
didn't hurt anyone. He would still go to jail for fraud.
I
also believe that what you don't know can sometimes hurt you.
Do your research!
