Jaguar Woman
by Amanda Harris
The Jungle forest is heated by Her passion and lust
Air is thick... filled with musk
She crouches by the river and bleeds into the Earth
All life comes from Her life blood, speaking... rebirth
Her teeth are long in the moonlight
Fierce are Her eyes... passionate and bright
Painted spots upon Her skin
I see Her human form, then She leaps again
"What has become of the feminine energy?"
(Instead of a question this was more of a plea)
A mighty roar escapes from Her throat, and from Her center...
Consuming me!
The roar resonates throughout my body bringing tears to my eyes
I am afraid, yet I am mesmerized
I merge with Jaguar Goddess
I merge with this Shaman deity
Releasing my anguish...
Knowing as a woman what it is to be free...
Knowing my power I leap into passion,
I leap into desire
I have yearned so long for this ancient Kundalini fire
I roam the Jungle forest, waiting for you to meet me there
Come within my primal energy
Walking into the forest, you shall feel my Jaguar stare
Be careful! For I might consume you, body and soul
Or we can dance together, and merge
Knowing what it is the Primal Goddess knows.
